I sought out "Meet me on the Corner" on YouTube and found that I still know the words after all these years.

I remember seeing Ken Russell's film about Isadora Duncan in the 60s. The drowining of her children stayed with me for years and still occasionally haunts my dreams.

Tu es ma sorcière de l'internet.

Grosses biseskapgafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15472235272953469113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-570655052849048780.post-63933486121355295852009-06-08T12:03:34.556+01:002009-06-08T12:03:34.556+01:00Ms Fhina, I enjoyed your Lady Eleanor post. I had never heard of the group...but I have heard of Englishness...I often wonder what makes a group sound English, especially when they are compared to Bob Dylan. Is it a kind of folk sound? I get the Celtic sound for example in ENYA...but I think your refering to another quality. I've seen Rod Stewart in California...wearing his white suit, showing his brown tan, and pleasing the Southwestern College crowd with Maggie May but does he sound "English"?

Have fun in Liverpool home of the Beatles and working-class power. <3Cynthia Pittmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12656761837022197235noreply@blogger.com
