Fireflies and Fleetfoxes...

This is a song by OWL CITY.

I hope you like it.

I've a busy week this week, manic, if you like...

I won't know if I'm coming or going, and I was even working on Saturday, which has hardly ever been known of me.

Please forgive my laziness with this posting, and I hope you enjoy this musical interlude, and hymn, or paeon to Winter's shadowy fingers, when they first pursue you down the street...

Imagine the Potter's Wheel turning and whirling, if you're old enough to remember it!

And, here are the FLEET FOXES with their Crosby, Stills and Nash-esque, WHITE WINTER HYMNAL. The vid is very dark and pretty poor, I think. Just look at the lovely Fleet Fox (Courtesy of Nuki on flickr) instead while listening to the beautiful harmonies...

I enjoyed very much the music interlude. Esp. Owl City...very cool!! When I watching the other video...it showed time flying by so fast and that is how it feels most of the time. Everyone and everything is moving so quickly! It is so easy to get behind! Just not enough hours in the day! So I can understand having a manic week!!

Both lovely tracks, I have never seen real fireflys I would love to.

The singer/writer in Owl City is famous for his insomnia. If we could just do without sleep, couldn't we get SO MUCH MORE done?

Unfortunately, sleep is one of my favourite things. Not to mention that I am useless without it!
Good luck with your busy week. x

Hmmm, I might have to download Fleet Foxes I think. I rather liked it.

Hope you are coping okay with this busy workload. Don't overdo it, my bloggy pal

xx

Liked both songs!! I await the first fireflies of the season in early June - they twinkle hugely in my fields- summer has arrived then!!!

I've always had a soft spot for foxes. I think it's because we used to have the same color hair :-)

Something I wrote earlier...
