I want to tell you a story.
Somebody very famous in English showbiz used to say that, Maxie Bygraves.
"I wanna tell you a story...", and, in saying this, he would wring loose his heavily be-ringed fingers expressively, like post-war bananas, inviting you in.
You were going to enjoy this tale, this moment.
You would.
You will.
When I remember whatever the hell it was I had intended to write today...
GAH!

That was PERFECT!! I loved it. Don't you hate when that happens? I have the exact same problem ALL. THE. TIME!
I booked a restaurant during the week for the weekend. Not only did I forget the day and the time, but which bloody restaurant it was. Thank God for my mobile's call log.
Ha!!! Boy do I know that feeling! Hate it when that happens!!

Welcome to my world...though I am sure your temporary blips are caused more by stress than age.
Can't believe that Max is even on your radar...is he still alive I wonder?
How lovely to be back here on your page. I trust that things are currently not so bad and that you are doing fine.
xx
Hi Fhina, Thanks so much for coming over and leaving lots of lovely words! At least you had a thought to forget. I have enough trouble just getting the thought! And, yes, Moannie, Max is still with us!
Goodness me, I thought he had died, oh dear...
Hello all, special hello to Derrick, and to Moannie - x - Of course he's on my radar, Moannie, he was on the TV when I was little, I remember, and I once bought one of his records for my mum... Not sure if she even wanted it, however... Mwah all! xox
Max Bygraves - I thought he was long dead! I'll have to google him and see how old he is - 105, 106?
