Questions and Inspirations!

Enough already about me this week!   Sometimes I do go on.

And on!

Tell me in the Comments section, if you please - What inspires you in life?

And, if any of you are up for it, ask me a question that you're burning to ask.

I'm not easily offended, I swear.

Eight months working in a youth work charity will do that to a person.

After coming in up the stairs to the office and taking my coat off to conversations and questions about anal lube and beer goggles, I'm practically bomb-proof, je te jure!

I've been for another interview this week, mes bloggy loves...

This time it's to officiate (in a casual capacity) at secular and civil ceremonies and weddings - What divine luck and chance that would bring - I can't wait to hear about it!

What inspires me is shapes, textures and shadows. Also music and other people's art works!
Have a great rest of your week!!

SueAnn, I think we share the same inspirations, my darling! And your art works are inspirational too, don't discount their wonderful beauty! x

Good luck with your interview, even to a woman who doesn't believe in marriage that sounds a wonderful job.
What inspires me? Sunshine and positive people.
Okay, question time. If you could swap one day in your life for someone else's (either living or dead) who would you choose to be? xxx

Sunshine and positive people - Excellent, Vix! I guess I do believe in marriage if it's the right thing for people, but as a long-term 'bidey-in' before we married (for then tax reasons), I am okay with the institution!

As for swapping a day in my life - Wow! I'd love to hear yours!

I think I would choose to live a day as Stevie Nicks, really... Just to step inside of that mind, however full and sometimes troubled... that has written such words over so many years and has so much wisdom in so many ways... There you go, not Mother Teresa, but... LOL... You?

I am inspired/turned on by Life and all of its many facets, whether they be positive or negative for every thing interests me.

My question is have you visited and read
wordsofaramblingmind.blogspot.com ?

Cheeky aren't I :)

Things that make me pause.....especially when I get that giddy kind of feeling that always strikes me in the early spring...funny thing it could be a stranger walking down the street in nothing but his ting swimming trunks with a bag of beer bottles in each hand....to the giggle of a little child watching a balloon reach for the sky.....so many things waiting to be noticed right before our own eyes.....we just have to take the time to catch them all! Hmmm a burning question, ok, what is your most relaxing thing to do when you want to disconnect from our high-tech world?

Stevie nicks? Great answer. Did you read Christina's tribute to her over on her Blog, Fashion's Most Wanted this week?
I think I'd be Anita Pallenburg living in exile with Keith Richards in the South of France in the early 1970's. xxx

A Heron's View - Of course, I have visited your blog, I visit and follow all who follow here, I just don't get to comment as much as I would wish ideally. So sorry...

I wish I could be as positive about the negative aspects of life, as you say you can be - I envy you that <3
BTW, I love herons - Such beautiful, other-worldly birds...

Karen S: You are right, the giddy beauty in life is in all the small things! How wise you are!

Relaxing? I don't do it as much as I wish, I must admit - I rush at things, and then wholly veg out in front of Homes Under The Hammer (UK property/house doing up TV!)

I love swimming and a whirlpool/jacuzzi tub... I adore backrubs but can't afford them. Mainly, I read real books, not Kindle (as yet...) And I love my Victorian Gothic four (short posts!) poster bed!

Vix! Anita Pallenberg - I can see you being just as cool as she is/was... I couldn't carry off her confidence! How wonderful your day would be - I wonder if Gram Parsons would stop by? And, I haven't seen the blog you mentioned, so I'm off there right now! x

OMG - I hope you got that job - you would be well suited to officiate at weddings. You have an air of elegance and proper etiquette about everything that you do - even when discussing lube with the youngsters ;-)

Carma, you are such a wag! Elegance? If you could only see me now, well it's just as well you can't - With my glasses perched on my nose like pince-nez ~(because I need a new prescription!), in my nightie with the remains of breakfast scattered all around me! Love you x

Late again as usual!
What inspires me , hmmm well-smells, colours, sounds, things that feel good to touch - it's ethereal and elusive (as I wish I was !!) I love people watching and trying to imagine how I'd look in their clothes or shoes come to that!
My question is , If you had the cash to buy any designer garment , what would you buy ?

Something I wrote earlier...
