It's just under a week to my birthday - on Monday next week... I'm as naked as I'll ever be... Unprimped, uncollagened, unbotoxed - Just as life made me - With all the lumps and bumps and blemishes that fate had in store for me when first I quaked from the womb...
It's getting to that stage where even younger colleagues, (who really shouldn't be able to afford it, but who are desperate!), are having the injections, voting for filler and Nil By Mouth... They want to re-capture who they were when they were 20, so as to hold on to (for me) long-forgotten dreams...
It's my birthday on Monday coming - I've the day off to celebrate. (Well, to dust the house and to wrap some parcels in time for Christmas, really... I'm a slattern and proud of it).
And I know I'm barking mad... I say it myself... I don't really care what others think of me, as long as I can still hold some respect for myself...
