Very attractive, Fhina! Really like the first picture but all of them demonstrate just how bright and colourful Spring can be. Short and sweet. Is this a new you?!
Really lovely words, and awesome pictures! Has this been a particularly tough winter, or too much depressing news? It certainly has made the coming of spring an abundant joy this year.
Isn't it great? I've just come back from a lovely walk, everyone is out. The dog got so excited by the Spring air he tried to eat a duck... duck scarpered atop cafe table. Ha! Stupid dog. Lovely, lovely blog xxx
I love spring as it symbolizes awakening and new beginnings.;) Although my favorite season is summer, spring is a close second.;) Have a great spring weekend Fhi.;))
Bee: Thank you, Bee - You are so right to regard this week as a beautiful gift - I never thought of it that way, and it has been simply gorgeous.

Shabstress: I think for us it's been the coldest winter in ages - Lots of snow, nice but also a nuisance! Spring is certainly a very welcome joy this year, just as you say, dahlink! Well said!
Reasons to be Cheerful 1,2,3: I love your little tale! What a hero of a dog! I love ducks too, but they can be a little belligerent! xxx
Mrs. Importance, A while ago you kindly bestowed me with an award. I have just learned how to collect them - yes I am truly dim. Would you remember roughly which post it was? this is asking for the moon I know and don't worry if you can't remember, but if you have any pointers I'd like to come by and collect. xx
Reasons, dahlink! No probs - It was this posting http://wildatheartblog.blogspot.com/2009/02/it-aint-over-until-fat-lady-blogs.html and it was the lovely red award with hearts on it that came to me from Dusting Spiders and from Jan, and it's there at the bottom of this page - The reasons for the award are set out on the bloggus page - Hope that's okay, m'love? We're all on this journey, aren't we - Learning every day! xxx
As summer gives way to Autumn here in New Zealand (it only got into the high 20s yesterday!) you make me think of the Spring and Summer to which I shall return at the start of May. Lovely posting.
WE're hoping! Magnolias are blooming and daffodils. We are tired of winter, tired of drizzle, ice and snow in our passes. We want to kick the blankets off the bed and go barefoot.
GB: Glad I evoked some pleasant thoughts there, Sir! Mind it does look mistily beautiful in your part of NZ, even with earthquakes - Incredible!
Anna Lefler: Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment, Anna! That means a lot...
lizspin: Beautifully put, Liz! I know it has been a lovely week here, and yet today, all is winds and steely grey clouds again - Gah! x
Diane: Bless you, Diane, for you are a truly treasured friend, mon amie! xxx
lakeviewer: Rosaria, magnolias - How exotic and wonderful (to me in the frozen north!) Going barefoot - My favourite footwear! x
The Things We Carried: Meredith, hello! There is nothing like the furled green shoots and leaves, and pink petal blossoms - So full of tender promise and beauty!

Gorgeous! Love all of these...

Thinking welcome spring,
we opened eyes in wonder
beholding white snow. . .
Well, those of us here in New Jersey did yesterday . . it was a cruel, cruel trick of the weather Gods. . .
Beautiful words... beautiful pictures... beautiful you, my friend... xo
