In the end there was love and loss and loneliness...

rose Pictures, Images and Photos

~Once my postings were rambling and incandescent things...

I spoke more of me, although apparently enigmatically... This was artlessly achieved... I did not try to be artful. I was just being mad old me. Folk stopped by to comment. I love that!

And I wibbled about fate and The Fates, time and tide, love and loss, myth and misses, and loads of good folk arrived to comment...

And now? I write swiftly and hurriedly of loved and my much-beloved things. I squeeze all of this beauty (a mon avis - in my opinion), edutainment, extravaganza and just Plain Piffle between a full-time job, shoddy parenting of a Truculent Teen, reading like a book-worm, slobbily writing to-do-lists, and generally turning into a sloth-like critter about the house.

Stuff and nonsense. Music and melody. Love and longing...

And I wonder why do you stick around -

(Why do you come here? How did you find me?)

- You whom I love - When I scarcely meet the standard of my earlier, more full-time, blogging episodes. I am not worthy...

I am sooooooooooooo not worthy...

So few people seem to stop by these days to talk, and I wonder why... I was feeling a little dampened when I wrote this, so sorry for the wibbling out loud...

Go, ask me some questions, please? At least then I'll know whether it's worth carrying on, (...if anyone cares apart, of course, from my dahlinks, (you know who you are!), who keep me from scaling the rooftops in search of a place to perch and plummet!).

You changed? I didn't notice; I saw different aspects of Fhina, changing with the tide, with the seasons. You have a full time job and run a family with a teen. I tip my hat to you!

Life, man! It happens.
And, let's face it, there are days when we're lucky to LOOK at the blog!
We all love you, just the way you are. We, too, are busy with life. It doesn't mean we don't care!
Rock on, Fhina! We're all trying to find that time-happy place in blogland.
:)
I always read, but don't always have the time to comment. Keep on keepin' on!

I love visiting your blog and "you!"
You're always very real...and unique...and often fun and quirky. I like that.

Hang in.

Since I have found you only recently, I am interested in the new you. I think most of us are kind of scattered in life. Sometimes strong. Sometimes not. I'm here for the journey.

Well my dear bloggy friend - as you know I am sometimes a bit blunt - too blunt if truth be told. I seem to be morphing into my lovely old mum more and more (the phrase 'calls a spade a spade used to be invented for her - as she got older she looked and sounded more and more like the slimmer of the Two Fat Ladies - Jennifer someone or other).

Your blog is delightful but when you post daily it is quite hard to actually think of different things to leave in the comment box. Sometimes less is more. That doesn't mean that what you put isn't interesting (oops, a double negative).

You also used to reply to comments but when you post so often then it must be a dreadful chore for you also to think of new things to say to people.

With so much going on in your life I don't know how you juggle all these balls. I don't have a job or kids and I couldn't blog every day.

Phew - I've written my longest comment ever, I think. Don't worry anyway - your blog is very pretty and don't be so anxious about people stopping by. I didn't have a comment for about three years - look how well you have done.

A recent Fhina lover , I enjoy your blog for the lightness it brings and also the interesting subjects. We appear to have a lot in common and so sometimes it seems you are writing my thoughts.
It is hard keeping up with work and family ( remember I have a 21 year old and a 9 year old to contend with and hope to be back in work soon)
Take care
Jan

Sazzie says I've changed too, and I think we expect too much, I know I do. It is almost as if we believe we are our blog, and of course we're not...however much we like to think that we are showing ourselves-there is always a restraint, a holding back, and that is as it should be. But it is tiring always trying to be clever or witty or 'deep'or interesting-to be loyal to our followers [heaven knows how some bloggers manage with hundreds]and read and comment. I have been wondering lately if there is such a thing as a shelf life for a blog-does there come a time when there is nothing left to say save the 'daily journal' type.
What you do is phenomenal; wife and mum...work and writing for MMM as well as keeping up with all of us.

I wouldn't fret, Blogpal. Go with the flow; post if you want to; commentent if you want to; thumb your nose at Blogland if you want to...Live, laugh and love, and let the rest take care of itself! xxx

Hi Fhina,

As someone who tried, like you, to post every day, I always worried if I couldn't think of something. Now, I'm more relaxed about missing Sunday and/or Monday when I'm off work. Weird that I have more free time when I'm at work??!! I marvel that you keep coming up with the goods AND have to find all the fab-u-lous photos as well! Do how you like. We'll be here.

I stop by because I find something interesting and it is an exercise for my American brain to decipher some of your words!!!!!!! I must admit that I would enjoy reading some more of your personal stories. I have been having a difficult time finding time to get around to everyone's site and barely have time to post right now. I see that my visitors have slacked off.....by the way....you haven't visited me in a while! You must go back and see the cake I made for BigBoy's birthday. Love ya like a sister..keep up the postings!

I remember when I first started blogging, only back in Feb and you were there, sweet and encouraging, entertaining and delighting. Then you went back to work and I could tell it was tough for you to blog so often...who wouldn't find it so? It doesn't matter Fhina - you have a certain style, one I've not seen at any other blog. Just be you...whenever you can.

Ah, you're experiencing a bit of the bloggy blues. Stay calm, breathe slowly, it will pass.

French Fancy makes a good point that when you blog daily it is sometimes difficult to keep up, delightful though your utterances are.

I go through phases of posting perhaps every other day but rarely every day. I don't have time to do more and I know fellow bloggers don't have time to read everything. Look at my bloglist - all excellent bloggers but I often miss some great reads because of the sheer volume. I sometimes think I should cut the list down to 10 blogs tops but who to cut out?

So onwards we go...

I almost forgot that we were supposed to ask you questions!

What would you like me to ask you? (Hey! There's one question!)

Do you sleep on your stomach, or on your back?

Do you prefer a bath, or a shower? (Or, do you just run out to the garden and spray yourself with the hose?)

Are these the kinds of questions you had in mind? 'Cause you know a bloggus doesn't always do things as prescribed.

Love you, dear lady!
