Why is January such a very looooonnnnnggggg and somewhat dreeeeaarrrryyyy month that seems to go on forevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvver...
Much like this sentence in fact.
Roll on the first lambs of spring...
I always feel much better once the babies begin to arrive in the fields, nustling up against their protective mothers, sheltering from the elements and then leaping for joy in the air, amid bleats and playful head-butts...
Except that this one appears to be stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place...
Isn't everyone?!
Bahhhh for now, mes bloggy woolly-backs!
Mwah!
(Oops, almost forgot! For those of you who were wondering about me drowning in the sea, not of love, but of rubbish - We have had mammoth snowfall here in the UK for several weeks - falls the like of which hadn't been seen in around fifty years...
So, collections of refuse have been severely disrupted and I hadn't seen a bin-man, as we call them here, in around eight weeks, and the weather was too bad for us to even take stuff down to the municipal tip ourselves over Christmas and into the New Year celebrations...
So, my home was (until yesterday, that is), festooned in bags of rubbish and recyclables...
I feel a lot lighter now much of it has gone! A little like this beautiful pink balloon, in fact - Courtesy of MonkeyBandit and Flickr.
Isn't it always so once we tackle a bit of de-cluttering in life? Time to deal with the non-rubbish clutter now, methinks!)

January is just as lll-ooo-nnn-ggg here in the U.S. Just dreaming about a tropical vacation, either that or being a bear.
here in Florida, January lasts a week or so..and then spring arrives! its quite crazy really!
Ooohhh, I love it! For once I'm ahead of the game...my comment just posted as Monday and it's only Sunday here! Come check out my blog...you can "step back" into the past. And who said "you can't relive yesterday"?
Oh, Poor Little Lambie! I have been there soooooo many times.
;^-
I feel for you! Yes, this month is long, and I have been decluttering myself! Well, not MY self, but you know what I mean :).
Eight weeks is just not on. The snow here in Western France was much worse than you lot - and our bin men just took two weeks leave of absence because the vehicles could not get around.
Hope you feel brighter soon
x
Thank you for reminding me that this morning is recycle pick-up day so I can put my bins out.
Yes I have felt like that lamb many a time. And I am so glad to hear that you have finally been de-cluttered. That is great news! We just took our "clutter" to the trash place yesterday. Ahh to be free of debris!!!
Hugs

Hi clutter-free Fhina!
Less than a week to go; hang on in there!
Very depressing time is January - my solution is to hibernate!! I might just do that!! See you in the Spring ~ Eddie
January is a cold month in more ways than one. Love the pic!
So glad to hear that you are no longer drowning in your own trash!
And yes, January DOES drag on forever. Hang in there - it is almost done!

Oooh poor you, that's a lot of rubbish. I'd have been very hacked of about that - glad it's gone. January is a draaaaag, you are right, roll on spring.
If you take a peek at my blog, then you'll really see some winter! ,-)
Soooooo, true, but February's not much better. At least it's the shortest month of the year. And then someone thought about slapping Valentine's Day in the middle to either make people more miserable or wonderfully happy.
I'm waiting for March and the forsythia.
Love you blog of course. The title in itself of a masterwork.
