Love and Light...

I say this all the time.

I write it in cards at work... Love and light, Love and light...

Like some kind of ratty Hippy's parrot that got lost on its way to Woodstock but has never lost its joie de vivre...

I'm horribly New-Agey that way!

I do mean it.

The sentiment, I mean...

May your life be filled with bright sunshiney light and warmth, mes bloggy sweethearts, the Vitamin D energy that revitalises us all.

May you feel love in your life and be loved.

At least once in a lifetime.

May you breathe life from the green-scented, grass-stained, paw of a well-loved, olive-eyed, four-legged furry critter before you stoop to fill its bowl with love, and dry kibble...

May you feel the clammy paw of a needy, sweaty child in your own... (It doesn't have to be your own child, borrow a niece, no CRB checks necessary...)

Can you feel their warm little hand in yours, you're crossing a busy road, dodging traffic, their trust is in your hands? You will protect them until the end of your days.

And, I hope you feel at one time in your life, the completed-ness that occasionally comes from being at one with someone. A significant other. A kindred spirit. A good, nay great, friend...

Be good to yourself. ...And I hope that you treat yourself well.
