Spending time with my family is the best therapy I can think of! I just love it!

Hoping you're having a beautiful Easter!

I did have to have a shaker or three of Bloody Mary Martini's after yesterday's soiree.....that's truly therapeutic to me :)
That monkey playing the drums is fantastic.
You have an awesomely wicked sense of humor there ladyfi....that's why I keep coming back time and time again. Either that or I'm a lil warped, lol.
Have a great week and.........

All good in this neck of the woods... though I do have cabin fever after way too much time at home.

best wishes Ribbon :-)

I AM SO IN NEED OF THERAPY TODAY!

Actually, I could use professional help every day, but that would be a bit costly and I've got all my bloggy friends to bug in between trips to the therapist, right?

You are a wonderful lady, Fhina! Without you and a handful of others, I'd no doubt find myself huddled in the corner singing nursery rhymes and eating my own hair.

Love to you,
Bloggus

As with LadyFi, I feel that time with family and friends is the best therapy I can receive. Cheap, too!

I have a therapist on retainer.

You'd understand if you ever met my family.

Can I join yours?

XOXO

Ha ha!! Luckily we were on our own, or a therapist would have had to have been on standby (that's a lot of haves). Hope you are doing well.

Yeah, family get-togethers are always daunting. This Easter went better than most. Hope you had a good time too.

Hope you had a good Easter. I spent mine with my husband and children. No extended family. It is the only thing that kept us out of therapy.

kapgaf: :) I hope you feel much better very soon, chere kapgaf!

Fat, frumpy and fifty... I was thinking o you much this weekend, my dear Saz, and hoping that you weren't working your fingers to the bone in the museum, it's been such a beautiful weekend, non?! I have controlled a visit from my sis-in-law, and it has passed without event, but not without fear that it would all go pear-shaped! LOL xxooxx

ladyfi: I am so pleased that you are blessed with a healing family, ladyfi - My side of the family were wonderful, but they are sadly no more... My son and his father - We are all cool together, but my out-laws... Another story ;) x

Vodka Mom: and you ma'am are Vodka-licious! x

Midlife, menopause, mistakes and random stuff... Ooh, I've never had a Bloody Mary Martini - Time to start, methinks! Thank you for what you said about my sense of humour, my precious! And, warped is good and great in my little wicked book! x

Ribbon: Great news! Hope you get out of your cabin into the fresh air soon! All the bes x

Bloggus Nuttus: I am sorry to hear you are in need of needed therapy, BN - I hope you feel much better real soon, but remember that my couch is always ready for you, my darling!

You always make me smile and laugh, BN, thank you so for that, and I very much identified with sitting in the corner singing nursery rhymes and eating my own hair! If we can get cheap therapy and support here with our friends, then we are all making a difference, non?! Love you x

Suldog: I think you are one of the most fortunate of men, Sir - I hope you had a hopeful and happy holy weekend, Sir x

Diane: I thought as much, my treasure! Hope you are feeling good once again - We feel you are with us even though you are not writing... As for joining my family, you and Ryan (and Bloggus) are already my honorary sisters in your neck of the woods! xxooxx

carma: It's sometimes nice just to spend time huddled with your closest ones, n'est-ce pas?! x

dedene: Glad your Easter went well, mon brave - Mine was pretty cool on the whole, touch wood! x

kimmiekat: I am very much pleased for you, and mine was much better than I might have anticipated - Thankfully, and thank you!

Hi Fhina,

Well, I didn't need therapy ... until I saw the video. There must be a darkened room around here somewhere!

Zuzana said...

Hehe, Fhina, luckily not.;)) I have realized long time ago that holidays are best spent away from extended families.;))
Hope your Easter was wonderful.;)

LV: And that's coming from darling diplomatic Rosaria!

Derrick: My personal, softly padded cell is always open to you, Sir! I need it so rarely these days ;)

Z: You are right, darling Z! Mine was filled with some sunshine and a nice ride out in the car, with the minimum of out-law interference, thank the Goddess! x

My blood family (such as I still have) are my dearest friends and my dearest friends have become my family too: the family we chose for each other.

Just thought I'd tell you that. I wouldn't swap them for anyone or anything.

It's been a long, long time since I spent easter with my family. My moving to souther california was to be relieved of them. Yes, I did usually need therapy after visiting with them occasionally...LOL!, which is why I stopped making the trip back for the holidays!

Yes, they are family, love them dearly!

A Woman Of No Importance said...

GB: I can feel all that love in your writing, Sir.. I have few members of my own family left, some very treasured friends, and I would protect my child with my life, but my out-laws? A whole 'nother story...and not for the want of me trying to make it all work. Please believe me...

Presious: Thank you for sharing, presious - I send you love x

No therapy needed when miles away from family, staying at seaside fisherman village in the company of smoochie toddler, easy going friends and sunshine.
I love the illustrations and pics. The video I will skip, do you mind? :) Ciao dear

We had a great time. We spent Easter in Sydney, which is why I've been AWOL!

It doesn't take a holiday weekend to make me need therapy!! I just need it anyway!!! It's all good though, I love my therapist.

How are you lady!!???

What happened to the video???? For some reason they say it's no longer available. . .

Damn, I have all the luck!!!!

Friends are free therapy as are husband and kids. Its the extended family that could drive me to madness, but I can't let them win, now can I :0!

That video's very funny.

Fortunately, my immediate fam and I spent the Easter holiday with good friends (quite a bit too much) good food, and lovely weather.

We're all so much alike, I think, more than not, don't you agree? Even all across the world as we are. Thanks, Fhina.

Hello drolly: I know, we had our best Christmas ever away from the extended 'rentals! Welcome in, drolly!

Lola: Do you have a spare bed, darling Lola? Your break sounds idyllic! I love how you mention smoochie toddler, I remember that - Wonderful! Ciao bella Lola!

david mcmahon: Hullo Sir! I'll bet Sydney was terrific! How lovely... Always nice to catch your reflection here, Sir!

Michelle: I'll bet you have a great time with your therapist Sunny Michelle! I am fine, a day at work has seen me right! ;) xxx

lizspin: Sorry about the vid, sweet Liz - These things do have a habit of disappearing occasionally! If you are interested it's the Avalanches doing Frontier Psychiatry on Youtube xx

Meredith: We are of one mind viz family, darling M! And as you say the trick is not to let them in! Er win! x

♥ Braja: From my darlings like you, Sweet Heart-Braja! xxx

K @ Blog Goggles: Hellooo - And the kitty comes fully qualified, I'll have you know!

sallymandy: I am glad your Easter was fabulous - Mine was fine after all, which was such a relief - Apart from my niece being given car keys to play with, meaning she was able to lock herself inside the car! Great fun... We are all birds of a similar feather, that's why we flock together, methinks! C'est magnifique, non?! x
