Tread Softly Angels...for you tread upon our dreams...
"Sometimes...
The most beautiful things,
The most innocent things,
And many of those dreams,
Pass us by.
Keep passing us by... Keep passing me by...
"...So I close my eyes softly,
'Til I become that part of the wind.
That we all long for sometimes...
...And to those that I love.
Like a ghost through a fog,
Like a charmed hour,
And a haunted song...
And the angel of my dreams..."
Another song - It's been a musically-mad Fhina-week this one, mes bloggy clarinets, n'est-ce pas?
Perhaps I needed music to brighten this week, mes sweet dahlinks...
Perhaps I'm on a (rock and) roll as, restored to the world of mobility, I am ordering concert tix all over the planet, as I've missed live music for soooo long...
Perhaps I just need to get out of the house more, as I was indoors cabin crew for so long before my surgery...
"Like some duty-free with that, Modom?"
"...And, no, I've never fitted properly into this pencil skirted trolley-dolly uniform!"
"What do you mean, I should be fitted with a sign that reads...
'Caution Wide Load'...?"
...May the angels bless the surgeons and nursing staff who help restore us to health, and may the angels watch over all of you this weekend, my bloggy friends...
...And you can always whisper in Fhina's large, but perfectly formed, shell-like the answer to this question...
"Who would be 'the angel of your dreams?' Who inspires you to be beautiful-you?"
I won't tell anyone... My lips are sealed...
That's another song of course, "Now, Fhina! Step back from the music-madness... Nobody's interested, really..."
MWAH, mes bloggy genii...xxx

Ref the first of your images - it'll never fly. The load to wing area/power ratio is entirely wrong.
My angels would have to be the sproggies but also all those around me who give love and light - comme toi ma cherie.
Have a lovely, lovely weekend.xxx
How lovely Fhina. You always have the coolest posts my lovely......
I love Stevie Nicks. I could listen to her all day any day expecially "The seasons of my life". Isn't that beautiful?
Have an extreme weekend my friend and........
Steady On

This was just beautiful. As are you, dear Fhina. Who inspires me? Ah, Herself, of course. Since the day she arrived on the planet, I've been inspired to be far better than I am... than I will likely ever be... but I keep trying. XO
Fhina, regardless of the theme or picture, your blog always calls me to stop and comment. It must be your mellifluous words, your clever pacing, your teasing cheekiness, your sense of wimsey. I can't get enough. So, you are the Muse for me.
Stevie Nicks was/is so pretty. There used to be a youtube vid for 'Seven Wonders' made at the time she and Lindsey were an item. They look so lovingly at each other in this that you would think they'd have stayed together all their lives.
Who inspires me? My best friend and lover, Mr FF.
Musical inspiration. Ultimately reggae. Bob Marley, live in concert, if only. Rebel Song.
"Angel" is my favourite Stevie song. Every time I hear the first few notes, I'm lost! Thanks for posting some of the lyrics.
Oh - and, French Fancy, I doubt that Stevie and Lindsay were still an item at the time of "Seven Wonders". I believe that they broke up right around the time of the "Rumours" album - but I could be wrong.
I am inspired by your light and love!!
Every.single.time. I COME READ YOUR BLOG!!
I am inspired and I feel as though I am enveloped in a cocoon of love!!!
whoa you got me going here.. Ive seen Fleetwood mac with Stevie twice...Songbird being one of my favourite songs...
The kids got tickets for greenday this morning, they cant wait and I may be (only maybe) getting tickets to le Johnny's last ever concert on may 31 in gay paris....l'll be shitting it if i get them, as l'll be going on spec solo!! if l dont bottle it.!!
Welsome to the room Sara!!
FFF x
So many inspire me. . . I only have to hear an angel's voice. . .
My grandmother inspired me when I was young, and now my creative and life-giving bloggy cheesecakes like you, Fhina, inspire me. What will you call us tomorrow? I'm still getting used to being a bloggy present participle and shrimp. I love your photographs here. Love and light to you...sallymandy
Aleksandra: Many blessings to you, Sandra! Thank you for being so kind to me, and continuing to sit through my bloggy drivel! I believe in earth angels too, just like you do... May they continue to keep watch over you and keep you well, dear Sandra xxx
Chairman Bill: Thank you, Sir - I shall remember that when I am next trying them out from the heights of the Clifton Suspension Bridge! ;)
Reasons to be Cheerful 1,2,3: Sprog angels are very cool, indeed, et merci ma belle mademoiselle! xxx
Midlife, menopause, mistakes and random stuff: Thank you, precious! It is a sad thing to mention, but I am keen to have Landslide played at my funeral, in good time - So lovely and poignant, and true for so many of us, 'Can I handle the seasons of my life...I don't know...' An extreme weekend - I'm off to Costco! ;) xxx
Diane: Bless you for saying that Diane, many thanks... Ryan is a bit of an inspiration to many of us, not just you - I wish I'd had her chutzpah when I was her age! Such strength she has! And keep on inspiring others as you do in all your work and play, Diane, please... xox
lakeviewer: Thank you, dear Rosaria - and you are so kind to be nice about my madwoman, insane ramblings, let's face it... To be thought of as whimsical and even in a little way as a muse is just such a pleasure, thankyou once more from the top, middle and bottom of my heart x
French Fancy: Stevie still is stunning, 'tis true... I think that Stevie was entangled for many years in her love, and her hate, for Lindsey... And now they kind of rehearse their 'love' as they realise it continues to enthrall and fascinate their audiences even thirty years' on... Look for Leather and Lace on Youtube, FF, and clock the looks she gives to Tom Petty - electrifying! x
TOM FOOLERY: Ah, my son loves Bob Marley - Even now he continues to inspire youth, TF! x
pinklea: "Angel" is so wonderful pinkie, and I almost put it on here - That long video on Youtube, but who would sit for over nine minutes here? Only we diehard Stevie fans, methinks - But her lyrics do inspire, I think, and I feel they often stand up as poetry in themselves - Lyrical, longing, romantic - Beautiful... She is an earth angel, no doubt... And Stevie and Lindsey broke up around Rumours, 'tis true - For that is how it came to be called Rumours - John McVie said that they were all sequestered in different rooms at the record plant in LA, listening to rumours about all of their break-ups, filtering through the walls... x
Michelle: Big kiss to you today, Michelle - Double decker, New York style! Mwah! Thank you for being just you! xxx
Fat, frumpy and fifty: I envy you, Saz, for I've only seen them once - I really hope they get their asses over to the UK this year following their big US tour, I am desperate to see them again... And Johnny, how wonderful that will be! I hadn't realised he was doing a farewell tour? Such a shame, and you must, must, must go see him! xox
lizspin: Ah, angels' voices - Incroyable, non?! xxx
sallymandy: I'll bet your grandmother was a fabulous inspiration - You are such a creative spirit, SM - And, I am indeed a bloggy cheesecake - I love it, thank you!
Names keep coming to me when I am out and about, little affectionate touches, like bloggy button-holes, bloggy starlings, bloggy berets! ;) Love and light to you, precious! xxx
