Hi Fhina,

Great minds think alike (especially British ones!). Our musical selections are a little different though! We still have the sunshine and I'm hoping we can hang on to it a little longer.

I've learnt a new word! Love it...

We're having a heat wave over here in Sweden.. not a mizzle in sight!

It mizzled a lot here a few weeks ago... then it was dry... then, last night, it monsooned. I think it might mizzle again today, though. I quite like mizzle-y weather (and saying 'mizzle' ;) xo

We are getting more than a mizzle from the monsoons here in Arizona. After two storms, the weeds are greening up just fine!

Ma chère Boucle d'Or,

C'est la canicule ! We're having a heat wave, a tropical heat wave. Except it's dry as a bone. But Paris in the searing heat just smells of cars and dog poop and nothing nice. Oh for a the mizzle - I'm off to Brittany on Sunday, bet it'll mizzle there!

Sinkstress: I am amazed, while the sun appears to be shining just about everywhere! I am glad you like the word, Mizzle - Strangely, in the top picture, which has not fully posted, there is a sign saying, 'Mizzle' x

Crazy Charm: Lying in bed while listening to the rain was one of my father's favourite things to do! x

Derrick: I don't believe it, Sir! I am coming over there shortly to sort your mind out! Bless you... Think we'll be getting the rain back tomorrow though...

ladyfi: Glad you love it, my dahlink ladyfi - It has been hot here today, on a day I post of rain, but we have been having significant showers in the north of late - A viaduct fell on a house in County Durham this week, and the weather was likely to blame! x

Diane: Much mizzle to you, Madame Mizzle xxx

shabstress: Monsoons in Arizona, I am really surprised - Is that usual weather for this time of year, shabby girl? Take care, and mind those monster weeds! I've seen Tremors! x

Cynthia L. H.: Welcome along! I am glad you liked the photo of the teacups!

Please do send us some mizzle, friend from the north. We are just burning up down south of you.

I love the word mizzle. It is very much YOU; it has your whimsical charm.

p.s. I never tire of discussing the weather. It dictates everything as far as I am concerned.

I love that phrase "mizzle", I'd forgotten all about it. It's a very precise amount and size of rain I seem to remember!

What glorious weather the last few days. I have tomorrow off and a weekend by the sea planned so I think it will thunder and rain...

Such is life :-)
