July is the month of Fhina's Wedding Anniversary... This year shall be her twenty-third...

THE GIFT Pictures, Images and Photos

What's the gift for the Twenty-Third Wedding Anniversary, I wonder?

I just looked it up. There is no gift, so I could possibly wangle two gifts if I just add the Twentieth Anniversary gift, apparently an emerald...

Emeralds Pictures, Images and Photos

(How come I missed that giftette??!), to the Third Wedding Anniversary Gift, which apparently could signify leather, or crystal or glass...

I love glass, me... I love emeralds... I wouldn't look so hot in leather pants, however! Or even pleather as one of my lovelies mentioned lately ; )

Lucky, plucky Fhina, non?!

Don't hold your breath, mes bloggy Bridesmaids! I'll be expecting to be jilted at the altar so he can avoid buying me a giftette until l8ers...

I'm over HERE CLICKIE today mes dahlinks! Please do stop by to say aujourd'hui? Mwah! Mwah! Mwah! Got ya!

Hi Fhina,

Well, according to a list I looked at, you are right that there's no traditional gift theme but there's a modern one of silver plate (obviously dreamed up by the silver-platerers guild!). There's also mention of an Imperial Topaz (no less) in the gemstone category. So maybe you could get your OH to shell out for something bright and shiny?!

23 - my God! Isn't the traditional present a divorce? Well, either that or a reaffirmation of vows?

Happy anniversary, Fhina. May you get emeralds when you least expect them; and rubies and diamonds when you do expect them. After all, being a wife is trial enough; but, a mom of a teen is a life-threatening condition.

p.s. make reservations and surprise the hubby with a his/hers jewelry pieces. He'll love the gesture, or not.

I clicked over, but I am not a parent and have no intention of ever being one - I'm enough trouble as an uncle - so I'll keep my crummy opinions to myself. Suffice to say I am always awed by those who job the job well, and you seem superbly equipped for that.

Blimey Fhina those choccies look a bit gorgeous!

Happy Anniversary month to you and Mr. No Importance. So glad to read about the emeralds, it's my 20th in Oct and that's my fave stone. Time to drop hints! xxxxx

Happy Anniversary darling - 23 years hey?! Now that is good going. We just had our 7th a couple of days ago...but I'm ill at home and he's in Africa filming lions and elephants. Hmmm. Something not quite right there! x

23 years is amazing! I'd take chocolate any old year, never mind the emeralds.

Emeralds for 20 years, huh? I suppose I can hang in there with Mr. Blognut for the emerald. I do kinda like the guy.

Happy Anniversary Month! Celebrate all through July!
