School Of Braja Pictures, Images and Photos

Thank you for all of your kind thoughts and good wishes, mes bloggy chums.

My boy, Grizz, is doing very well and healing - With love and thanks to the angels that watch our every fragile step...

Might I ask of you to please go and send positive comments for love and healing, or prayers as you wish, at Braja Sevaki's place.

She writes a beautiful, light-filled, witty, clever and often profound blog: LOST AND FOUND IN INDIA

Australian, Braja and her Danish husband, Jahnu, together with their driver, have been in a terrible car-crash in India on their way to the airport for journeys to New Zealand and Europe, respectively.

All parties are currently in hospital in a different stages of hopeful recovery.

I know we might not even have met those lovely folk whose blogs we read and love de plus en plus, more and more, each day...

That we have yet to meet, does not in any way diminish the feelings we have for them...

Please send your love to Braja, Jahnu and their driver, and please hold them in your hearts and think of them and their community this weekend, mes dahlinks...

Love and light to you all for a safe and uneventful weekend, mes amours.

I am so glad that you wrote about this today. I just can't get it out of my mind.

Yesterday, just after I read about Braja, another blog-friend called Elizabeth called me. She had just left India, and is staying in London for the weekend before returning to NYC. She "knows" Braja, too; and she spoke of the terrifying traffic/driving style in India.

We all know that there is a great deal of truth to the idea that all things (or people!) are connected, but blogging makes me really FEEL this.

I never realised Braja was from Oz. For some reason I thought she was American and living in India. She seems to use a lot of American-style jargon in her blog posts.

It is lovely the way that the blogging world - and all internet forums as well - is so connected and caring.

Ref the blog title; not if I'm looking for my brown glasses and they're on our brown furniture.

Hello Fhina,

Glad Grizz is progressing nicely. I hope that Braja and her husband and their driver are doing the same.

We follow our routine lives day after day, presuming a LOT! We should never forget that the most ordinary of words or actions are vitally important; giving someone a kiss or a hug, calling them just to say hello ... just because. We should never let the moment pass.

So ironic that Braja wrote about going to the airport when the roads were quiet. These things seem to come upon us when we least expect them - and how easily our frail human attempts to 'plan' go awry. Sending thoughts to all three of them.

I love the planned moment, and since we all live in different time zones, it's like the wave of light that keeps on delivering.

I said to someone yesterday that a year ago I didn't know this community existed... now I can't imagine my life without it... XO

Thanks Fhi - I hope Braja can feel all of these prayers and well wishes today, and every day, until she is back on her feet. The blogosphere is a wonderful place!

It is sad to hear about yet another car crash. I hope everyone will be fine. Have a nice weekend F.;)))

Hi,
I thought I wrote a comment already. (Poor memory with meds!)

I will email my best wishes to the family you spoke about. It's the least I can do.

Bee: Thank you - It has been the most stunning news... I have long understood the risks of travel in some countries, including India - My OH has worked in Nigeria and tells some terrifying stories... I read on the update that Braja had called out to the driver before the accident - She is such a strong woman, I am certain she and her husband and their driver shall surmount this, Bee, they are so strong! I do think we grow close to those whose words and lives we read - Often more so than friends we might see quite a bit of, as less appears to be concealed in Blogland, if you understand what I mean... My best to you. x

FF: I think Braja has been a bit of a globe-trotter so far in her life, FF, trying to find somewhere she fits, and India is it for her and her husband... We do care for one another - We get to know people quite well, and we do form attachments, don't you think? The world is a far smaller place than it once was... xx

Michelle: Hi hon', thank you for your kind thoughts for Braja and those who are with her xxx She is strong!! Bless you! x

la jinks: Thank you darling - the more thinking about Braja, her hubby and driver, the better, my love! x

Chairman Bill: Ever the wag, Sir! Same thing happens to my OH - He can be looking for his reading glasses, and they're on the top of his head all the time!

LV: Bless you, precious! x

Derrick: I am leaving your words here again, my friend: We follow our routine lives day after day, presuming a LOT! We should never forget that the most ordinary of words or actions are vitally important; giving someone a kiss or a hug, calling them just to say hello ... just because. We should never let the moment pass.

That is so important to recognise - thank you!

Scriptor Senex: I know, there are many bizaree cosmic coincidences going on, Sir! Blessings to you, and to them, as you say...

Comedy Goddess: I know I felt the strength of many good wishes and positive vibes for Braja and her hubby and driver - It was an incredible feeling - I hope she felt all our love x

Diane: You are so right, Diane, and this is so true - I think of you as a good, good friend, and we do find ourselves more and more caring about our bloggy friends in a very powerful way. xxooxx

You have a visually pleasing blog. I clicked on your blog while visiting another site because I was intrigued by your title. I follow another blog that is called "A Significant Life." Now, yours appears to be at the other end, so maybe what I need do is to find one called "A Semi-Significant Life" or else "A Woman of Quasi Importance."

Fhina,
Scarlet is the woman pictured on your blog mast-Scarlet Johansen. I'm not sure about the spelling of her last name. Whenever I come to your site, I think of you as this woman who is quite a fancy one, and a good actor to boot.

I love the name Fhina. Is it short for...?
Have a great weekend.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness and caring ways. It takes one to know one, you know?

What? Thank God I dropped by today. I had no idea.

You're blog entry title would be my favorite quote. How odd.

I'm off to Braja. I find it so compelling that some of us can find actual friendship here in blog land.

A Woman Of No Importance said...

Snowbrush: Hello chumlette! Thank you for finding me, and it is true, we are all linked, we women of great and lesser (moi) importance!!! You are such a wag!

lakeviewer: Rosaria, bless you! I and Scarlett have a number of things in common - We were once the same age, when we were 25, except I am older than her by 21 years, which is a very scary thought! Thank you for thinking of me in close relation to such a beauty and such a skilled and clever actress. As for Fhina, it is not short for anything, and here, c'est moi - It is linked to the Celts and means, 'wine' Take care, you! Sending you love and luck this weekend, my bloggy friend! x

Charmaine: Hello you - I thought what you had to say on 13 + 1 was very telling, and I am very supportive of your views, Charmaine - It all seems a little odd to me too, lots of 'masking' possibly going on there, as you say, my dear. Who can say, and difficult times abound, non?...

Bless you for your friendship and kindness to me, and care for Braja and her loved ones... x
